Comic to tape Philly Philly Wang Wang in London in May

Phil Wang is to record a Netflix special.

The British-Malaysian comic will end his 39-date tour of Philly Philly Wang Wang with a recording at The Old Vic in London in May.

Wang previously taped a 15-minute show for the streaming giant in 2018 as part of its series The Comedy Line-Up, which also featured Aisling Bea among others.

The new show – about ‘morality and the modern sense of self’ –  will be produced by the television arm of Avalon, who are also Wang’s agents.

It will be taped over two performances at 5pm and 8pm on May 30, and tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow.
