Radio 4 show for Joz Norris

Stand-up special about small talk

Joz Norris is to record a half-hour stand-up special for Radio 4.

The show, A Small Talk About Small Talk, revolves around what goes on in our heads while we're ‘wading through the quicksand that is polite chit chat’.

Norris, who won the best show accolade in the Comedians’ Choice awards at the Edinburgh Fringe, last year said:  ‘I'm really looking forward to taking thoughts from the stage and translating them for a radio audience and playing with sound in the same way I would normally play with images in my live shows.’

The show, to go out in the Sunday-night stand-up slot, will be produced by Steve Doherty at Giddy Goat.

The pair previously collaborated on Joz and Roxy Are Useless Millennials, which was broadcast on Radio 4 earlier this month and is now available on BBC Sounds.
