John Bishop announces 'warm-up' tour

...in 2,000-seaters with tickets priced up to £38!

When is a tour not a tour?

John Bishop has announced almost 50 dates running across the whole of the year – yet all are described as ‘warm-up shows’.

Each venue is a significant theatre, and despite being described in terms of work-in-progress previews, tickets are priced up to £38.

Venues he’s playing include the 2,000-seater Brentwood Live in Essex, where tickets are priced £37;  Portsmouth Guildhall, which also seats 2,000 and the New Theatre Oxford which seats 1,800.

The blurb for the shows gives little detail of what to expect, listing his TV credits and saying: ‘This will be his eighth stand-up show and its shaping up to be his best yet!! John can’t wait to be back on the road again.’

Tickets went on sale today and are available here.
