Lee Mack pilots ITV game show

The 1% Club films next week

Lee Mack is piloting a new game show for ITV.

The 1% Club will feature a studio audience of 100 people competing to win a cash prize, each answering questions via a keypad.

But producers say: ‘The questions in the quiz are brain teasers, not general knowledge – so literally anyone can play.’

They will be running through the show on January 29, with a filmed pilot the following night, at MediaCity in Salford.

Previously the BBC National Lottery game show 1 vs. 100, hosted by Dermot O'Leary, pitched a contestant against 100 people in a bid to win a jackpot, although no one from the panel could take the cash.

Free audience tickets are available for both run-throughs from Standing Room Only.
