The Bumswing to hit the road after Edinburgh

Sofie Hagen has announced a tour of her next stand-up show, The Bumswing.

The British-based Dane will launch the show at the Edinburgh Fringe, where she won best newcomer in 2015.

Described as being  about ‘memory, chickens, strawberries, sex holidays and a swing that once had a naked bum on it’, the show will then play 27 slightly sporadic UK dates from September 29 this year to June 2020.

Known for her podcasts, from The Guilty Feminist to Made of Human and Secret Dinosaur Cult, Hagen has also appeared on The One Show, The Now Show and Live From The BBC and hosted her own documentary in Denmark.  She recently filmed her own special and series for Comedy Central online looking at the sex lives of fellow comedians.

In May she released her first book Happy Fat: Taking Up Space in a World That Wants to Shrink You, challenging fat-shaming.
