Emily Atack is heading to the jungle

Inbetweeners star Emily Atack is taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The move explains why the 28-year-old actress, who also appeared in the 2016 big-screen remake of Dad's Army, announced her first string of live dates for the spring.

Atack – the daughter of comedian Kate Robbins and musician Keith Atack – played Charlotte Hinchcliffe, the love interest of Simon Bird’s Will McKenzie, in the E4 hit.

This will not be her first brush with reality TV as she was a contestant in ITV's Dancing on Ice in 2010.

She has also appeared in comedy shows including Rock and Chips, The Keith Lemon Sketch Show, The Tracey Ullman Show  and Birds Of A Feather.

Last month, she made the tabloids over a reported flirtation with Seann Walsh, which may boost her gossip potential in the jungle.

The Sun has tonight named all the contestants in the reality show.

Also taking part are former EastEnders actress Rita Simons,  DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, X Factor runner-up Fleur East, James McVey from The Vamps, The Chase brainbox Anne Hegerty, former football manager Harry Redknapp, Coronation Street’s Sair Khan and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer.

In addition, one secret star will enter the jungle on launch night – November 18 –  with two others expected to join later in the series.
