Scottish sketch show shooting a new special

Burnistoun is returning to TV for a one-off special.

Robert Florence and Iain Connell are currently filming the half-hour special, provisionally titled Burnistoun Tunes In, Glasgow Live reports.

This will be the third special since the original series ended in 2012, following Burnistoun's Big Night in 2015 and Burnistoun Goes To Work the following year.

Connell has posted selfies on social media showing him wearing wigs, suggesting new characters are in the pipeline.

The new show is expected to air on BBC Scotland next year.
