HBO renews Sharon Horgan's comedy for a third season

Sharon Horgan’s US series Divorce has been renewed for a third series.

HBO has commissioned another six episodes of the comedy, which stars Thomas Haden Church and Sarah Jessica Parker as the separated husband-and-wife.

However, the number of episodes in each series has been declining, from ten in season one and eight last season.

It is screened on Sky Atlantic in the UK.

Horgan created the show, but does not star in it, and is an executive producer alongside Parker. 

Production is set to begin in early 2019, the US trade press is reporting.
