Tim Minchin announces 2019 UK tour

His first dates in eight years

Tim Minchin has announced his first UK tour dates since 2011.

Back comprises 16 dates, kicking off in Ipswich on October 15 next year, and is billed as ‘old songs, new songs, f*** you songs’

Tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Thursday September 6, with a 24-hour advance window for fans who register via box office giant Ticketmaster. Profits from some top price seats will be donated to a UK charity yet to be announced.

The Back tour will be the first dates since his national arena tour with an orchestra in 2010-2011.

Last year, DreamWorks pulled the plug on Minchin’s animated musical Larrikins, which he had been developing for four years.
