Trevor Noah to write more memoirs

Follow-up to Born A Crime due out this autumn

Trevor Noah is to write a second volume of his memoirs.

His first book, Born A Crime – which told of his upbringing in and just after apartheid-era South Africa – became a New York Times bestseller when it was released in 2016, and won the  Thurber Prize for American Humor.

Now publishers Spiegel & Grau have brought the follow-up, which will be published in the States on  November 13. No UK publication has yet been announced.

The new volume – as yet untitled – will continue where Born a Crime ends, when Daily Show host Noah was starting on the nascent stand-up scene in South Africa.

Details of the new deal have not been released, but Spiegel & Grau paid a reported $3million-plus for the first book.
