After Sky dropped the Tim Allen sitcom

Tim Allen’s comedy series Last Man Standing is coming to E4.

The family sitcom – about a father struggling to bring up his three daughters while his wife is the main wage-earner – previously aired on Sky 1.

However the first two seasons, broadcast from 2012 to 2014, failed to attract strong ratings for the channel.

Now E4 has confirmed that it has brought her rights to the first series, which it will air on March 13 at 4pm, starting with a double episode. It will then air daily at the same time.

In the States, the series is on its sixth series with the ABC network and averages around 8 million viewers in an 8pm slot.

E4 has a strong slate of US sitcoms, including  The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine Black-ish, The Goldbergs and 2 Broke Girls.
