Whose Line? returns to the West End
London Palladium shows this summer
Whose Line Is It Anyway? is to return to London’s West End for another run.
The team behind the hit TV improv show are to perform 14 shows at the London Palladium from June 9 to 19.
Regular players Colin Mochrie, Josie Lawrence, Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood and Jeff Davis will join host Clive Anderson for the run
Anderson, who is also hosting next week's Chortle Awards, said: 'I’m excited that Whose Line Is It Anyway?...Live will be returning in our biggest venue to date. Sunday night and indeed every other night at the London Palladium.
'I'll be firmly - sometimes not so firmly - in charge as host of the show and looking forward to the best, and worst, audiences will throw at our talented improvisers this time round.'
Whose Line is it Anyway? began on Radio 4 before running on Channel 4 from 1988 to 1999. It has been an even bigger hit in the US, where it began airing in 1998 and is still running to this day.
Co-creators Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson revived the show for a West End run last summer (Our review) after many of the original players appeared in an unofficial version at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Tickets for the new Whose Line is it Anyway?...Live dates will go on sale at 10am this Friday.
