Dieudonne detained

Anti-semitic French comic banned from entering Hong Kong

Anti-Semitic French comedian  Dieudonné M’bala M’bala has been detained at Hong Kong airport.

He and his two sons have been refused entry to the territory, where he was due to perform a stand-up show entitled ‘In Peace’ tonight and tomorrow.

The comedian posted his refusal notice on Facebook saying he had been detained for 15 hours and blaming his plight on pressure from Israel.

M’bala M’bala was convicted in March of condoning terrorism in France after he posted a Facebook message sympathising with one of the gunmen in the  Charlie Hebdo murders.

The comic is better known for popularising an inverted Nazi salute known as the quenelle than any of his jokes, but his Facebook page has 1million ‘likes’.
