Emma Bunton and Vicky Pattison play detective

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton and Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison are to play detective in the next series of Murder In Successville.

Chortle can today reveal the names of all six celebrities to be taking part in the comedy-reality-gameshow-whodunit hybrid when it returns to BBC Three later this spring.

Tom Davis is returning as Detective Inspector Sleet, while comic actors including Cariad Lloyd return to play the fictional stars who inhabit Successville.

The real celebrities taking part are:  

Vicky Pattison, who came to fame via Geordie Shore before her success on I’m A Celebrity;  Sky Sports presenter Chris Kamara; Emma Bunton,  who is now a  Heart FM DJ; former Towie star  

Mark Wright  and Union J singer George Shelley

They follow in the footsteps of first series contestants Dermot O’Leary, Louis Smith, Jamie Laing, Deborah Meaden, Kimberly Wyatt and Greg James 

Filming has just commenced on the second series for the soon-to-be online channel, made by Tiger Aspect.

When the second series was commissioned in October, BBC Three controller Damian Kavanaugh said: ‘The guys were amazing in the first series and I am sure we will have celebs knocking down our door to get under DI Sleet this time. Let’s go solve a crime!’
