End-of-year review show for Downton mimic

Comedy impressionist Luke Kempner has landed his own ITV2 show.

The performer behind the live show The Only Way Is Downton will host an end-of-year review for the channel.

It will feature sketches about the events of 2015, with him mimicking the key players, as well as real celebrity guests and music performances.

Kempner's biggest TV role to date was appearing in BBC Three's Murder in Successville, where he played characters including Russell Brand, Andy Murray and Professor Brian Cox.

He started his career in musical theatre, playing Marius in the touring production of Les Misérables as well as taking roles in Avenue Q and South Pacific. But in 2012 he launched his new career as a comic impressionist with the viral video Downstairs At Downton.

As well as playing Edinburgh and touring the UK, Kempner – who is also a puppeteer – has also taken The Only Way Is Downton to Moscow and recently toured an version entitled America's Got Downton, across the USA

The ITV2 review – currently titled The Luke Kemper Show –  will be recorded on Wednesday December 2 at the Tabernacle Theatre in Notting Hill, London. See our free tickets page to be in the audience.
