Video show revived as an online series

Adam Buxton’s music video show Bug has been revived as an online series.

The BFI yesterday released its first half-hour episode for free, rounding up pop videos featuring artists such as Alt-J, Paolo Nutini and Ten Walls.

Bug: The Evolution of Music Video first launched in 2007 at the BFI Southbank, where it has became a regular bimonthly fixture. Buxton also took the show on the road, and in 2012 it became a series for Sky Atlantic.

As previously, the new series features music videos shown in full, introduced by Buxton’s commentary, including YouTube comments made about the films.

The BFI say there is not a confirmed number of episodes, 'but hopefully it’ll be an on-going series'.

Episode one has been released on the BFI Player video-on-demand platform here
