Nathan lands R4 series

...about his own life

Stand-up Nathan Caton has been commissioned to write and star in a four-part series for Radio 4.

The former Chortle Student Comedy Award winner will be basing the show around his own life and family.

He wrote on his website: ‘The show is basically about my life when I graduated from university; turning down a degree in architecture to do stand-up comedy, which my family were delighted about (eyes rolling in sarcasm), and how they try and interfere in my life as I embark on telling jokes for a living.

‘That’s the show. It’s an exciting thing to do, but I don’t know what to expect. It’s kind of like doing my first Edinburgh again.’

The series will go out just after Christmas.
