Release deal for Edinburgh show

Brendon Burns has signed a deal to release his current Edinburgh show on DVD.

Y’know Love N God N Metaphysics N Shit will be recorded later this year, following a UK tour, and released in 2011.

It will come out on the Pias Comedy label, which has previously signed Richard Herring, Hans Teeuwen, Russell Peters and Andrew O’Neill.

Burns said: ‘I've never got something this amazing so early in the Edinburgh Festival run before.

‘Pias bosses Leon Happe and Andy Townsend both know their comedy inside-out.  When I sat down with them and they started citing material of mine from ten years ago that I'd forgotten, I knew this is the company I wanted to sign to.’

Burns has just released his first book, Fear Of Hat Loss in Las Vegas, and will be hosting the FHM Stand-Up Hero show on ITV4 later this year.
