Barrie hopes for permanent revival
Red Dwarf star Chris Barrie says the one-off Easter special could lead to a new series.He says he and the rest of the cast are hoping the new episodes for Dave will spark a new lease of life for the cult comedy – a decade after it finished its BBC Two run.
Barrie told The Sun: ‘We all think this could be the start of something big — perhaps a new mini-series, a film or just a series. None of us has ever closed the door on Red Dwarf.'
