With James Norton and Cynthia Erivo next

Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo are to host the next three episodes of Saturday Night Live UK, it has been announced.

They will be joined by musical guests Sasha Keable, The Streets and Blossoms respectively.

The second series of the Sky One show is taking a break this week, and will return at 10pm on October 10 with Dyer as host – just a couple of hours after his daughter Dani appears on Strictly.

After these three episodes, production will go on hiatus and resume in early 2027.

SNL UK returned for its second series on September 12, with episode one attracting 308,000 viewers within its first week – although only ten per cent actually watch it live.

It has a much larger reach on social media, with the ‘cold open’ sketch of episode one, featuring Harry and Meghan returning to the UK, attracting 6million views on YouTube. Amelia Dimoldenberg’s opening monologue from the latest show has already racked up 2.9million views on TikTok.
