Rhod lands Radio 2 pilot
New sitcom set in Llanbobl
Rhod Gilbert is recording a new sitcom for Radio 2.The Welsh comic has written the show, Return Of The Native, with fellow stand-up Greg Davies, and a pilot will be taped next month.
The show is based in Llanbobl, the fictional Welsh village where he has based stand-up routines, and sees him returning to his family home to repair the damage done by his mother leaving his father and brother.

Gilbert already hosts a regular show on BBC Radio Wales.
