New series for panel show
The Jimmy Carr panel game 8 Out of 10 Cats has landed a second series after attracting good ratings.
Sean Lock and Dave Spikey are regular team captains in the show, that attracts around 4.8 million viewers to its Friday night edition.
It has benefited from being scheduled alongside Big Brother, but its 22 per cent audience share is still strong for Channel 4.
Andrew Newman, head of entertainment at Channel 4, told MediaGuardian: ‘Finding a panel game that works is a great thing. With 8 Out of 10 Cats, Jimmy, Sean, Dave and the production team have come together to make a brilliantly funny show.’
8 Out of 10 Cats , which revolves around the results of opinion polls, is made by Zeppotron.
