Chris plans US sitcom
Chris Rock is working on his own sitcom in the States.
The comic, who hosted the Oscars last month, is making a pilot episode for the UPN network.
The show, entitled Everybody Hates Chris, is inspired by Rock’s childhood experiences, according to trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.
The main character, the eldest of three children in a strict family, attends a predominantly white school in Eighties Brooklyn
The show originally was developed as a pilot for Fox.
