Brent's guitar for sale
David Brent’s guitar has gone up for sale on eBay.
Ricky Gervais donated the Office memorabilia to the tsuanmi relief cause during Monday’s marathon UK RadioAid broadcast.
It’s the guitar his character used to sing Freelove Freeway to a bemused training session during the sitcom’s first series.
He also used it when he recorded the version with Noel Gallagher that was included on The Office DVD release.
Bidding for the guitar, which Gervais has signed, stood at £2,550 at the time of writing. The auction closes on Saturday morning.
Frank Skinner has donated a shirt once worn by Elvis Presley to the same cause.
The comic paid £10,000 for the blue velvet shirt back in 1997, and traced its history on the TV documentary A Little Bit Of Elvis.
