Vic and Bob... and Steve

Coogan joins Reeves & Mortimer

Steve Coogan is to team up with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer for a new ITV1 show.

They will write and star in The All Star Comedy Show, a rare venture into ITV for all three comics.

An ITV1 spokeswoman told Teletext: "It will be a broad-based entertainment series to be shown probably next year."

The show will be made by Coogan's independent production house, Baby Cow, with Mortimer's Pett Productions.
