More dates for farewell tour

More dates have been announced in the Fast Show's last ever live tour.

A further 18 gigs have been added to the schedule, mostly by stayng an additional night or two at most venues.

But the tour will now also visit Aberdeen, York, Ipswich, Wolverhampton and Plymouth.

Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson, Mark Williams, Simon Day and Arabella Weir are all in the show, which kicks off in Portsmouth on October 1

Whitehouse said: "I am looking forward to the tantrums, tiaras and the trinkets especially the trinkets."

And Higson added: "I spent six years touring as a pop singer in the 80's and it's exciting to think that I can now relive the experience as a tired and decrepit old man. If Mick Jagger can still do it, then so can we."

Today's comedy-on demand picks

This is the show that celebrated the launch of Nick Helm's album in 2016, and has previously been unseen by anyone who was not in the O2 Forum Kentish Town that night.

With typical hyperbole, the show is described thusly: 'Under-rehearsed, under-prepared and under pressure, Nick and his band somehow managed to pull together the greatest show in the last 27 years of living memory. That show went down as a thing of legend, often spoken about by weary travellers around campfires, but thought to have been lost to the sands of time forever.'
