Gigs 'will end in Staines'

Ali G is reportedly planning a live tour of Britain - to end in Staines.

The Sunday Mirror claims creator Sacha Baron Cohen is planning two months on the road, which will net him £2million.

However, the story carries no more details, saying only that the tour is likely to start in the autumn.

Playing in Staines may also prove a problem, as the Middlesex town - not Berkshire as Ali always claims - has no theatre.

The paper claims the tour could mark the end of Ali G in Britain, quoting a source saying: "The film has done quite well, but he knows the act will not last forever here and is thinking of taking it to America."
