Emma Fryer

Emma Fryer broke into the comedy circuit in 2005, when she was a finalist in the So You Think You're Funny?, Funny Women and Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year competitions.

She played Tania in BBC Three's Johnny Vegas sitcom Ideal, and starred in the online sitcom Where are the Joneses?.

In 2009, she landed her own BBC Two sitcom, Home Time, which she co-wrote and plays the lead role of Gaynor Jacks.

Comedy stars say Earth Must Die

Alex Horne, Mike Wozniak and Sophie Duker among cast of new adventure game

Comedians including  Alex Horne, Mike Wozniak, Sophie Duker and Stevie Martin are to star in a new video game, Earth Must Die.

The cast of the point-and-click adventure also features Rosie Holt, Alasdair Beckett-King, Inel Tomlinson, Tom Lawrinson  and Sam O’Leary.

Sitcoms stars Tamsin Greig, Martha Howe-Douglas, Joel Fry, Don Warrington, Emma Fryer, and Garth Marenghi himself, Matthew Holness, also feature.

Developers Size Five Games have just released a trailer,  introduced by Horne.

Plebs star Fry takes the central role of Vvalak Lizardtongue, the despotic Grand Shepherd of the Tyrythian Empire, with Howe-Douglas as his trusty sidekick Milky, who was also his childhood nursing robot.

Size Five Games – previously known as Zombie Cow Studios – are known for comedy adventure games including Ben There, Dan That!, the Bafta-winning Privates, a sex education game developed for Channel 4, and  Behold The Kickmen, a football game ‘made by someone who has no understanding of, or interest in’ the sport.

Earth Must Die is and published by No More Robots and will be coming to PC via Steam at a later date, yet to be announced.
