Third series for Am I Being Unreasonable?

Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli's comedy thriller will return

Comedy thriller Am I Being Unreasonable?, written by and starring Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli, will return to the BBC for a third and final series, it was announced at the broadcaster’s comedy festival in Liverpool today.

The pair said in a statement: ‘We’re so excited (and slightly concerned) to return to the mad world of Am I Being Unreasonable? The first two series have been an absolute joy to make and we couldn’t be more grateful to be back for a third time with our incredible cast and crew. 

‘There’s a lot to say in this series - some of which we probably shouldn’t - but we’re hoping to end on a high. Even if some of our characters might not… So, stay safe, trust no one and remember to always keep the receipts…’

The show is made by Boffola Pictures, where executive producer Shane Allen said: ‘Our eccentric blend of character-driven comedy and panic-attack plotting sees loyalties pinball in all directions. Daisy and Selin’s scripts for this series are chock-full of jaw-drop ideas and outrageously funny dialogue.’

And BBC comedy chief Jon Petrie called the show ‘bold, surprising and emotionally fearless… we can’t wait for audiences to see how they bring this story to a close.’
