Ebeneezer Goode reworked to boost the electoral hopes of the intergalactic space warrior

The Shaman’s hit Ebeneezer Goode has been reworked and rereleased in honour of Count Binface.

Sheman – aka The Shaman’s frontman Mr C – has rewritten the lyrics to proclaim ‘Bins Are Good’ as the alter-ego of comedy writer Jon Harvey takes on Nigel Farage in the Clacton by-elections later this month.

This video has just been released, directed by former comedian and comedy promoter Harry Deansway – who unsuccessfully brought a lawsuit alleging the 2022 U&Dave series Live At The Moth Club was ripped off from his ideas.

The video is an homage to the 1992 original which featured Jerry Sadowitz as Ebeneezer Goode.

In an interview with The Rest Is Politics podcast yesterday, Count Binface said of his Reform UK rival: ‘Numerically, he may indeed win. But morally, he cannot win.'

And he told hosts Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart:’ Do I think that I, a space warrior from Sigma 9, could be a better local champion of Clacton, Walton, Jaywick and Weeley, than Nigel Farage? Yes, I do.’
