Her Unacceptable opinion...

Bad news for Andy Burnham - Lucy Beaumont thinks all Prime Ministers should be  Southerners.

At least that’s the opinion she was forced to adopt on Unacceptable, the Ed Gamble-fronted panel show that gets comedians to argue indefensible positions. 

The Hull-based comic suggested: ‘Southerners are more intelligent –on the off-chance someone from the North is intelligent, they move to London.’

Later in the episode, Beaumont is challenged to deliver a speech as if she were Prime Minister herself. 

She declares: ‘I stand before you as your Prime Minister and a proud Northerner to remind you of what makes our country great – chips, Big Tesco’s and the Beckham family feud."’
