Rosalie Minnitt and Luke Rollason release revision aids

Comedians Rosalie Minnitt and Luke Rollason have created a BBC sketch series  based on the GCSE English set texts, which has just been released  in time for last minute exam revision. 

Aimed at 15-16 year olds, Literally!  is described as an irreverent take on classic literature that sees Pride and Prejudice's Mrs Bennet on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Romeo and Juliet taking a couple's quiz, and Ebeneezer Scrooge guiding us through his iconic fashion looks. 

The series also features performances from Esmonde Cole, Ed Jones, Ada Player, Anand Sankar, Temi Wilkey and Adrian Bliss. 

Minnitt  said: ‘Literacy levels are at an all-time low so me and Luke decided to combine our last brain cell to save the children. We had a blast butchering the classics and can’t wait to see what the Daily Mail has to say.’

Luke said: ‘I studied English Literature at the University of Oxford. You can't tell."’

The series was produced for BBC Bitesize by Leah Draws, Ben Rogers and Simon Welton for Lion TV - best known for  Horrible Histories – and directed and edited by Hudson Hughes.
