Zach Braff returns as Dr JD Dorian

Here's the trailer for the reboot of Scrubs, 15 years after the US hospital comedy last aired.

The clip shows Zach Braff striding back into Sacred Heart as Dr JD Dorian to proclaim: 'I’m back, baby!' – only for none of the current staff to know who he is.

Original co-stars Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley  and Judy Reyes  all revive their roles too.

The series – from original creator Bill Lawrence – premieres on February 25 on ABC in the States and will stream on Hulu. No news yet about a UK platform.

The original show aired on NBC for seven seasons from 2001 to 2008, followed by two more seasons on ABC in 2009 and 2010 – and was screened on Channel 4 here. The old episodes are currently available on ITVX.
