New Faces Of Comedy showcase

Here’s Lara Ricote performing at the Just For Laughs comedy festival In Montreal… just as soon as she gets the microphone set up precisely where she wants.

The comic – as currently seen in Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping on Channel 4 – starts her set with a song before talking about therapy sessions, family oversharing, and the unexpected root of all her problems.

Ricote took part in the  New Faces Of Comedy showcase at the festival, which is magnet for the North American comedy industry.

It took place in July, but the footage has only just been posted to YouTube.
