Here’s Chloe Petts at the New Faces Of Comedy showcase at the Just For Laugh festival – the comedian’s Canadian debut
In her set, records in July but just posted online, she spoke about the perks of being mistaken for a man, the struggles of being a ‘flexitarian’, toxic soccer blokes, and why British people owe their sense of humour to the Vikings.
The festival is a magnet for the North American comedy industry and the New Faces strand has been a launchpad for dozens of stand-up’s biggest stars including Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Ali Wong, Jo Koy and Kumail Nanjiani.
