Aimee Lou Wood's new BBC romcom

Here’s the first trailer and for the BBC‘s romantic comedy-drama Film Club.

The series has been co-created by  Daddy Issues, Sex Education and The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood.

She also plays Evie, who rarely leaves the house but looks forward to her weekly film club and the hours she spends  with her best friend Noa (Juice’s Nabhaan Rizwan,).

The series also stars Suranne Jones, Liv Hill, Adolescence breakout star Owen Cooper and co-creator Ralph Davis,

Film Cub will drop on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three on Tuesday, October 7,
