Dancing In The Middle by Adam Buxton

On the day his debut album is released

Adam Buxton’s latest single  Dancing In The Middle is out today – and here’s the music video.

The Devo-ish track comes from his debut album Buckle Up, which is also out today  via Decca Records, both digitally and on vinyl and CD.

The track is the comedian’s take on political polarisation. He said: ‘I recently saw a journalist refer to people who believe in the value of compromise as "The Far Centre". Radicalism can be useful, but I don’t think politeness is the worst thing in the world

Dancing In The Middle is, like much of the album, produced by Metronomy’s Joe Mount and the video has been created by Cyriak.
