In the trailer for his new Netflix special Fool Volume

Vir Das has dropped the trailer for his new Netflix special Fool Volume.

The show was filmed in a stadium in Mumbai, London’s Union Chapel and the Comedy Cellar in New York.

But as the Indian comic reveals in the trailer, in the run-up to the recording dates he lost his voice, which his family blamed on the ‘evil eye’.

In the clip, he also hits back at audience members who say, ‘just make me laugh, bro, don’t make me think.’ His response: ‘Get someone to tickle you, you basic bitch, all right?’

Vir Das: Fool Volume is released on July 18.
