New mockumentary with Tim Key, Domhnall Gleeson, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Alex Edelman

Here's the first scene to be released from The Paper – the new mocumentary set in the same universe as The Office.

The premise is that the series is made by the documentary crew that immortalised Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch, who are now now turning their attention to a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it. 

Its ensemble cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Tim Key and Oscar Nuñez reprising his role as accountant Oscar Martínez from The Office.

The Paper launches on Peacock on September 4 in the US, then on Sky in the UK the next day.

A trailer was released earlier this month.
