James Acaster appears on Seth Meyers

Talking gag theft, SNL UK and how he got fired from a restaurant...

James Acaster accused Seth Meyers of stealing gags from other comedians for his last stand-up special.

The Brit teased the US comic when he appeared on his late-night NBC show yesterday in an interview which might have been light on truth…

Acaster started his appearance by venting his annoyance that the show played the same clip from his special Hecklers Welcome which they also used last time he was on the show.

He also claimed he dressed up as Kurt Cobain while a waiter at Jack Rabbit Slim’s, despite the restaurant – as seen in from Pulp Fiction – being 1950s-themed.

And he also said he was excited for the UK version of Saturday Night Live – after John Oliver hosted his own flop version before making it in the US.
