Coming to Netflix on May 9

Netflix has released the trailer for Hannah Gadsby’s third comedy special.

In it, the comic admits: 'I have dragged you through a bit of my shit over the years' - especially in their hard-hitting breakthrough show Nanette - then adds: 'It's time for some payoff.'

The streaming service describes Something Special as a 'feelgood set', covering nothing more traumatic than Gadsby's wedding and an encounter with a bunny.

 Filmed at the Sydney Opera House, Something Special premieres globally on Netflix on May 9
