I Think I'm In Love With The Girl Who Works On Checkout Six In Decathlon
Cult musical comedian Brett Domino has released a new single for Valentine's Day.
The track is called I Think I'm In Love With The Girl Who Works On Checkout Six In Decathlon, and, as is pretty self-explanatory, talks of his admiration for a retail worker.
Whether knowingly or not, the track could be seen as a homage to I'm In Love With The Girl On The Manchester Virgin Megastore Check-out Desk, a minor 1981 hit for Manchester band The Freshies, fronted by Chris Sievey before he found greater fame as Frank Sidebottom.
Occasional Cats Do Countdown guest Brett Domino is the creation of Rob Madin, one of Tim Renkow's co-stars in his BBC comedy Jerk. He also created the 2014 BBC pilot C Bomb, based around a Sheffield dubstep producer of that name.
