Highlights from the final
Here are the highlights from last night's Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year final.
Eight competitors, selected by comedy promoters across the UK, vied for the title that had previously been won by the likes of Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan.
Daniel Sofoluke, who perfoms as Daniel Soff, was crowned winner with Simon Wozniak second and Kathryn Mather third.
