Gina Yashere has spoken about the subtle racism surrounding Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry.

In her role as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show, the British comic highlighted such press coverage as the Mail describing the privately-educated mixed-race Meghan as '(Almost) Straight Out Of Compton'.

She also pointed out how the press made a big deal about Meghan coming from a broken family, saying: 'You know who else is from a broken family? Prince Harry!'.
