Steve Bugeja on his near-relationship

Former BBC New Comedy Award winner Steve Bugeja has spoken of ’almost’ being in his first relationship.
In his stand-up routine, he said potential partners normally find that he’s ‘more annoying than funny’ after a couple of dates.
He spoke of how he hit it off with a girl called Lyndsey at a nightclub, despite his hatred of such places, but they split up when she went travelling.
Incorporating a dubious South American accent, it was part of his set at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which has just been shown on ABC’s Comedy Up Late showcase:
