Ahir Shar on Brexit, alcoholism and modern slavery

From the Melbourne comedy festival

Ahir Shar has described Brexit as being 'when my country decided to voice its collective displeasure at Polish people by throwing our wallet into a burning bin'.

His routine at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival was filmed for ABC's Comedy Up Late and released on YouTube today.

Less politically, he also spoke of how the autocorrect on his phone changes his name 'shit shag' and where the bar lies for alcoholism.
