Comedians to showcase their beermat talents
We've seen comedians Wrestling and boxing... now here's the sporting championship they will all want to win: the Comedians Beer Mat Flipping Championship.
Charlie Baker, Tom Rosenthal, Harriet Kemsley, Sarah Keyworth, Pierre Novellie, Ania Magliano, Rose Johnson and Dan Cook will be competing for the new trophy in London in March.
Competitors will be seeded based on how creative their flips are, with the contest itself based on pure numbers of how many can be flipped. It is the brainchild of comedian Stuart Laws, who hosts the event with Sikisa, with help from Bella Hull and Matt Sandstorm.
The championship stakes place at 21Soho on March 3 and tickets, priced £16.50 or £22 for close-up 'courtside' seats are available here.
