Tom Lucy: My cocaine shame

...but not in the way you might expect

comedyTom Lucy has revealed how he once flushed an A-lister's £200 bag of cocaine down the toilet - then told the star he'd snorted the lot to save face.

Speaking on the forthcoming episode of  Mel Giedroyc’s Unforgivable, the stand-up recalls hanging out with the ‘mega’ famous actor after a charity gig at a fancy hotel.

Without naming the star, Tom said: 'I got asked to do stand-up at a very fancy kind of charity dinner, and there was a very famous British actor on the first table in front of me. Like mega, mega fame.

‘And after the gig, it goes fine, and I’m at the bar, and this actor comes up to me and he says, "Oh I enjoyed that, do you wanna come and join our table and have a drink with us?" About half an hour later, this actor says to me, "Do you take drugs?"’

He doesn't... but told the star that he did. So the actor handed over a little bag of cocaine, which he took to the bathroom of the ‘fancy’ hotel, trying to figure out how to take it.

‘I’ve never taken drugs before,' he said. 'I was trying to Google it but I had no signal on my phone. I’m just gonna pretend.

‘So I opened the bag of drugs and I poured it down the loo.’

But when Tom returned to the actor, the star asked him for the bag back.

‘I said, "What do you mean? I did it." He said, "You did the whole bag? There was four grams of cocaine in the bag. You need to go to hospital,"’ the comic recalled.

In increasing panic over what was happened, the star even suggested calling an ambulance, with the comc's calm only convicing him that he was about to die.
