Comic was with Paul Drayton for 13 years

Alan Carr and his husband Paul Drayton are separating, after 13 years, it has been announced.

A spokesperson for the comedian told the PA news agency: 'After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.

‘They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.

‘We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time.’

Carr speaks about his relationship in his current stand-up tour, Regional Trinket, boasting about how his friend Adele officiated at their wedding in Los Angeles in 2018, but also making reference to his now-estranged husband’s issues with drink.
