Royal Albert Hall gig billed as a debate

Comedians Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng are bringing a joint live show to London's Royal Albert Hall on October 16.

The internationally touring show Hasan Hates Ronny | Ronny Hates Hasan, is described as a debate format in which they argue about subjects including politics, immigration, the economy, dating and family values.

Minhaj is best known in the UK for his Netflix stand-up specials and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, the political satire series he made for the same platform, which won a Peabody Award and an Emmy. He was also a senior correspondent on The Daily Show.

Chieng has also been a correspondent on The Daily Show since 2015 and a host. He has released three stand-up specials on Netflix — Asian Comedian Destroys America!, Speakeasy and Love to Hate It, the most recent of which came out in December 2024.  As an actor he has appeared in Crazy Rich Asians and the Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring
